Respecting our environment

Laurimar is a leafy address that has been thoughtfully integrated with the natural environment, surrounding community and local facilities.

With 8 hectares of wetlands currently being developed in the Laurimar Town Centre, the area showcases practical ways to care for the environment while adding to the natural beauty of the location.

Delfin takes this sustainability initiative very seriously through wetlands designed to treat stormwater runoff from existing and future housing.

Laurimar also features the Waterdale Village Park. 5.5 hectare in size, the park will contain a large irrigation dam and wetland system capable of watering up to 20 hectares of surrounding parkland. This will ensure that the park will be sustainable all year.

In addition to this, Laurimar is also rolling out a pilot water and energy saving scheme to residents, which aims to cut local greenhouse gas emissions by more than 143 tonnes and reduce water usage by 30 percent, helping to ease the state’s water crisis and global (climate change).
