Education

Parents and children at Laurimar will be pleased to learn that the forthcoming Laurimar Town Centre will be home to the brand new state Laurimar Primary School.

Located at the heart of the community, the school will give children and parents the convenience of quality education close to home. Laurimar Primary School is expected to open its doors in January 2009.

A vital part of the Town Centre - which is currently under construction - the Laurimar Primary School is one of Delfin’s many initiatives to provide a broad range of education services.

Laurimar already boasts the outstanding Laurimar Childcare and Early Learning Centre for infants and toddlers, as well as the Whittlesea Maternal and Child Health Facility, while the local area is currently well served for both primary and secondary education.

There are more than half a dozen primary schools surrounding Laurimar, and secondary schools are well catered for too. The convenience of a bus network within Laurimar provides ease of access to these schools for students who live within the project. For higher education a range of university campuses and TAFE sites are located just a short drive away.
